A Message For Christians: Not Voting? To Do Nothing and Call it a Moral Victory is Cowardly, Maybe Evil

"Governor Romney approves of abortion only in the case of rape, incest and the life of the mother. And since, some evangelical Christians will not sort through this. They believe that abortion is murder, immoral and sinful. And some are saying that they will not vote for either Obama or Romney. And they believe that by sitting out this election, they will be protecting their holiness.

To do nothing and call it a moral victory is cowardly. It may actually be evil. But it is if nothing else, certainly this: Failing to do as much as possible to make improvement toward those things which you can make better. Failing to show that much compassion and effort is morally lazy.

In the world in which WE ACTUALLY LIVE where our country has about 1,200,000 abortions every year, one candidate is saying that we could eliminate 960,000 abortions… It is moral malpractice then seeking to reduce the number of abortions by 80% is the same as saying that 100% of all abortions are politically and morally ok. To do nothing to preserve the life of the unborn when you have the opportunity to do something toward that goal cannot be an alternative for a thinking Christian."

I agree too. I have been broad sided by a recent fb post from my pastor's wife on this issue. So, sad that people just don't get it.... (They didn't vote)
