More Christmas Sweetness, "Tenth Avenue Angel" (1948)

My daughter and I were watching this sweet, sweet movie today, this movie is so very precious and a perfect addition for our family viewing especially for the Christmas season.

At around 3:16 you will see little Flavia (Margaret O'Brien) in the precious, most poignant kneeling cow scene as she prays for a miracle for her mother, oh and such a sweet miracle as only the Lord can do.

My eyes were wet with tears, they just don't make them like this anymore. These are the best folks. These movies are made in a time in our country where there was a healthy fear of God.  May we never be ashamed of sweetness or innocence. : )

I hope you enjoy this and are blessed:

Our daughter is still recovering from kidney stones, is in much less pain now thanks be to God.  Please keep her in your prayers.   ~Amelia
