Our family is shocked and grieved to hear of David Wilkerson's death less than an hour ago.
His last blog today.
He was and is extrememly instrumental in our family's walk with the Lord. His book, "Set Thy Trumpet to Thy Mouth" was huge in our lives.
Many a Sunday we listen to his sermons from Times Square Church.
Brother Wilkerson, we will so miss you. We will see you again on the other Side.

I listened to a sermon you had downloaded here on your blog last year. It was a great one about women being home full time to be a wife and mother. It had a huge impact on me.

Karen, The Tozer book recommended is The Pursuit of God by A.W. Tozer. I found it online free but if you are like me and like hard copy it is easy to find. In fact after looking at the online table of contents I think I would enjoy re-reading the book. Now to unpack it. (we just moved back to the area we had moved to when I first talked with his sister) I love the area now and so appreciate the tranquility. Bless you Karen!
Oh my! This just proves how precious life can be. He was a good man. My deepest condolences to his family.
