Sweet Sleep to All, enjoy...
(Please feel free to mute the music at bottom of page)
My husband and I love Fernando Ortega's music very much. This is one of the prettiest and most ministering songs ever... We recently saw him in concert and his words and wisdom were right on target. Our four daughters spoke with him after the concert and relay that he was very kind indeed. We don't hear much about kindness do we? Whatever happened to kindness? Just plain kindness & consideration?
Sometimes my heart aches when I observe what is surrounding our world, our community... So much division and even rudeness and ungratefulness at times....But when I hear this song...It puts things right into perspective. No one is fooling the Lord. All we have to do is keep our eyes on Him and keep our hearts clean. We can reject the rudeness, thanklessness and the busyness. It may mean standing alone in this world but that's okay. Because we are not alone, we have the Lord. The alone times are the very best when it comes to walking with the Lord...
I'm decluttering lately, it's a slow drip-drip system for me and it's taken a long time to grasp what my clutter has kept me from. It's very difficult for me. My grandma tells stories of waiting for the chicken to lay an egg to make an egg sandwich for my mother during the 30s to take to school. Oh how far this world has come... But are we better off spiritually?
I prefer to live a more simple life, as much as possible.
We are a self employed family, not a wealthy family. So it's very difficult for me to let go sometimes. But I'm learning.
If you like you may enjoy my declutter-party post over at thats-italian.blogspot.com to see what I am letting go of day by day. Any of you on this journey to simplify?
Blessings & Sweet Sleep!
